Important Update: Alcoa Wheel 81U562DB Supersedes 812522DB with Notable Design Change

We want to make customers aware of a key change to the Alcoa 22.5” x 11.75” super single wheel range.

The new 81U562DB rim, which replaces the 812522DB, has undergone a significant design transformation. While most ALCOA Wheels transitioned to the new UltraONE® material without altering their appearance, the 81U562DB rim introduces a notable visual and structural change with the removal of hand holes

The 81U562DB now features a solid disc design with no hand holes, offering a sleeker, more aerodynamic profile. This change also contributes to a weight reduction of 1.2kg, bringing the rim down from 21kg to 19.8kg, thanks to a thinner disc construction using Alcoa’s MagnaForce® alloy, which is 17% stronger than standard aluminium. Both rims—81U562DB and 812522DB—are 22.5” x 11.75” super singles with zero offset, primarily used on ROR and BPW wide track trailer axles.
